Singularity Theory

Think of the technological acheivements we have had in the last 50 years. It's amazing to think we've come so far. Did you know technological acheivement improves dramatically, exponentially even, every few months.

Now, think about what this means for us. Eventually the processing power of a computer will be greater than the human brain. This means the human brain will be able to "fit" on a computer, and operate at a speed worthy of such a find peice of biological matter.

Yes, that's right... Immortality (of sorts) is soon going to be available to us. A new and scary concept I know, and a new way of living, a new form of reality... but just because something is different, doesnt mean it's not better.

Bring on the Singularity.
